Thank you to Leinster Rugby, who are providing 5th and 6th Classes with tag-rugby lessons over the next 6 weeks. After Christmas, we hope to play in blitzes against other schools in the area!

This art lesson was inspired by our trip to Rathfarnham Castle, where we saw beautiful frescoes on the ceilings!

Well done to our 6th Class Basketball Squad, who have been training each Wednesday since early September, and have played 6 matches.We are now in a final, which will take place in the National Basketball Arena (that's basketball's Croke Park!)on November 21st!

We had so much fun searching for frogs in Airfield and apparently found one of the largest ones ever seen there! Needless to say, they were all released back into their habitat very quickly!

Over the next two years, we will be working on improving our PE Programme in our school,so that we may apply for our school's first ever Active School Flag in 2020. As part of this initiative, we are required to endeavour to use our local amenities.We are very grateful to Meadowbrook Swimming Pool Management for giving our 4th and 5th Classes a 7 week swimming lesson slot in September and October of this year.The girls were provided with excellent lessons and the feedback from them has been great.We hope that every child in our school will avail of this opportunity at least once during her time in our school.
