On June 13th, as part of our history curriculum, 5th Class visited Rathfarnham Castle and were treated to a guided tour. The girls learned so much about not only Rathfarnham Castle, but about castles in general and life in Dublin during the 16th and 17th centuries.Heather, our guide, did such a good job. The children enjoyed her many stories about the castle, particularly the stories about the skeleton in the wall and the duchess whose wig caught fire!
