Active School Run A Mile Event!

All 306 of us headed to Marlay Park for our whole-school Active School Event this year. This event was organised by Dún Laoghaire- Rathdown Sports Partnership. All in all, five schools, took part. Each and every one of us, from Junior Infants right up to 6th Class, ran  (walked and jogged parts if we needed to) a mile and received a medal that we will treasure, for our efforts!Thank you so much to all the children and teachers for embracing the occasion and a special thank you to all of our parent volunteers, who helped with crossing roads and supervision.A special thank you also to Shane McCardle, Lauren and Beth's dad, who as Sports Coordinator with DLR Sports Partnership, informed us about this event and who, with all of the team in Sports Partnership, will continue to support our Active School journey.
