Global Citizenship 'Litter and Waste' Assembly

HAPPY GREEN YEAR!

The Green team started off the new year with a wonderful Global Citizenship- Litter and Waste assembly. We spoke about our 'Litter and Waste' management plan in the school and how we are contributing to the reduction of 'Litter and Waste' on a global level. Our 'Green Squad' are back in action, checking bins in the classrooms, turning off taps, switching off appliances and making sure we all bring home any waste in our lunch boxes. Our 'Walk on Wednesday' team are up and about checking that we are making a big effort to walk to school. Some girls are even cycling to school! We are also preparing for our 'Climate Change' day of action. We can't wait to find out all about climate change and what we can do to help. Now for the exciting bit... we are applying for our Global Citizenship-Litter and Waste green flag. We are really looking forward to working towards our new flag. It's going to be a very exciting year for us.
