Active School Flag
After over 2 years of improving our Active Programme in our school, we were very proud to be awarded our Active School Flag in 2021! We have a permanent plaque on our school wall that reminds us of this fantastic achievement. More importantly, we continue to sustain the changes that we made and introduce even more improvements year on year. One such improvement is the introduction of Friday Active Dance Yard. On these pages, you will learn about what to be an Active School actually means!
Active School Committee
The photos on this page are of our 2019-20 and 2023-24 Active School Committees. The committee is responsible for explaining new initiatives to the school at assemblies, tidying the Equipment Room weekly, delivering messages to classes, putting out yard equipment each day, pumping balls, setting up our Friday Yard Music each week, attending meetings and discussing ongoing issues and plans. They do great work! We select a new Active Committee each year and try to give as many pupils as possible an opportunity to be on it. Ms. O'Neill and Ms. Macken are the Active School Coordinators in our school.
Active School Noticeboard
Each term we update our Active School noticeboard. We keep everyone up to date on what is happening in P.E., after school sports and physical activity.
Active Stars Noticeboard
This is a paragraph area where you can include any information you’d like. It’s an opportunity to tell a story about the business or describe a special service or product it offers. You can use this space to share the company history or highlight a particular feature that sets it apart from competitors.

School Slogan & Logo
In 2024, all of our children participated in a slogan and logo competition. We are very proud of the catchy slogan and artistic logo created by these 3 students and well done to all of our students who participated!

Active School Club Directory
A group of students in 5th Class created an Active School Club Directory for our school. Any parents looking for information about active clubs in our area may get a copy of our Active Club Directory from the office or view it above!
Active School Commmittee
This is our 2023-24 hardworking Active School Committee The Active Committee distributes yard equipment every single day, set up music for Active Music Yard each week, tidy the Equipment Room each week, present active assemblies and much more!
