We are having a Lá Glas in school this coming Wednesday in aid of 'Respect', which provides support and funding to improve the lives of people with intellectual disability.
Please note also that the school will be closing at 12.30 pm on Wednesday for the Easter Holidays. We wish you all a very happy St. Patrick's Day and a Happy Easter! Our Lady’s Girls’ and Boys’ Schools will celebrate the centenary of the 1916 Easter Rising on Proclamation Day, March 15th 2016. We would like to invite the entire community to join us for a special ceremony, held jointly with Our Lady's Boys' school, outside the church at 12.45 pm. There will be a formal raising of the National Flag, a reading of the 1916 Proclamation and we will sing our National Anthem, Amhrán na bhFiann. Following this, there will be tea and coffee available in the school hall and displays of the children’s projects and writing on the theme of 1916 will be on view in the ground floor rooms of our school. We hope you can join us in celebrating this special occasion.
