Statement from the Department of Education and Skills:
In response to the imminent Storm Ophelia, the Department of Education and Skills is now publicly informing all schools, colleges and other education institutions that they are to remain closed tomorrow, Monday 16 October. This decision has been made following discussions with members of the Government Task Force on Emergency Planning and in light of the advice from Met Éireann on this unprecedented storm. It's nearly that time of year again! The autumn term for the 2017/2018 school year starts on Thursday 31st August 2017. School starts at the regular time of 8.50 am. Junior Infants and their parents will be met in reception by a member of staff and will be shown to their classroom. Tea and coffee will be served in the hall for new Junior Infant parents so please join us!
Our school will be closing for the summer holidays at 12.30 pm on Friday 30th June. We hope everyone has a lovely summer and a well-deserved break!
